chocolate peppermint cupcakes!

i made these cupcakes last night for a holiday order...yummy!

winooski farmers' market update...

my little cupcake will not be at the winooski winter market this saturday, the 19th.

for this month grandma's kitchen table chose gingerbread cupcakes with cookie cut-outs. thank goodness the cookies were optional :) i decided to go with a simple confectionary sugar glaze, some yellow sprinkles and a piece of cystalized ginger...by the way...has anyone ever tasted that stuff, man is it strong (and kind of yucky) but very pretty sitting on top of a cupcake :) anyhow, the cupcake was delicious (after i took off the ginger) and the simple glaze was the perfect touch.

flavors for saturday at the williston winter farmers' market will be...

jelly donut-vanilla cupcake stuffed with strawberry jelly, topped with vanilla buttercream and a mini glazed donut;

chocolate peanut butter-chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting;

marbled-vanilla and chocolate marbled cupcake with chocolate frosting.
